In 1736, Benjamin Franklin famously said, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Our vision is to proactively pursue preventive care enabling better health and empowering better communities.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive health care – a 360 degree approach that includes treatment, prevention and empowerment. To achieve this mission, Dr. Yamuna Gurrapu co-founded North Texas Medical Clinic in 2016. Encouraged by the support, Dr. Gurrpau now founded North Texas Med360 to complement primary care with prevention and empowerment – Medical Weight Loss and Aesthetics.
Our strategy is based on the foundation that a physician needs not only to treat a sick patient but also strive to prevent sickness. This means proactively pursuing preventive care. That’s a holistic view. That’s a 360 degree view.
Affecting nearly 40 percent of U.S. adults, obesity contributes to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke and other musculoskeletal and vascular problems. Obesity has been officially recognized as a disease by the American Medical Association since 2013.
To serve this cause, Dr.Gurrapu had completed her Obesity Medicine board certification in 2018. She is now excited and equipped in integrating Obesity care in her regular medical practice – every day. every patient.
After a successful pilot program with a few patients, we are now actively helping patients with weight loss management. We have incorporated Ideal Protein – A Medically Developed Ketogenic Weight Loss and Weight Management Protocol – into our medical practice. You can find more information about Ideal protein at this link.
