BioRePeel Chemical Peel Q&A

What is a BioRePeel Chemical Peel? How Does it Differ from Traditional Chemical Peels?

BioRePeel is a 35% TCA-based chemical peel that offers both exfoliation and skin rejuvenation without the typical downtime associated with traditional peels. It’s designed to improve texture, tone, fine lines, acne, and pigmentation, while also stimulating collagen and elastin production.

Unlike traditional peels that focus mostly on surface exfoliation, BioRePeel also delivers bio-stimulation, revitalization, and keratolytic effects — making it more of a multi-functional treatment that combines exfoliation with active skin regeneration.

Key Ingredients:

  • 35% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)Exfoliates and renews skin
  • Lactobionic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Tartaric AcidAid in exfoliation and acne control

Is a BioRePeel Treatment right for me?

BioRePeel is perfect for anyone who wants clearer, smoother, and more vibrant skin. In addition, it will help improve overall skin health with little to no peeling. It is especially beneficial for people who have the following skin concerns:

  • Sun damage
  • Uneven skin tone and dark spots
  • Visible fine lines and wrinkles
  • Lack of radiance and glow
  • Dehydrated or flaky skin
  • Uneven or rough skin texture
  • Noticeably large or open pores
  • Excess oil and shine
  • Frequent breakouts or blemish-prone skin

Does this treatment have a downtime?

BioRePeel is a non-invasive treatment with no downtime at all! You can return to your daily activities right after treatment. There's no major visible peeling like with traditional TCA peels. Redness, dryness, or flaking may occur, but these are typically mild and short-lived.

What areas can be treated?

BioRePeel effectively treats various areas, including: Face, Neck, Under-eye area, Chest, Back, Underarms, Elbows, Knees, Hands, and Intimate areas.

How often is a BioRePeel Treatment Recommended?

We recommend our patients do a series of 4–6 sessions of BioRePeel treatments spaced 7–10 days apart. For maintenance, one treatment every 4–6 weeks can help keep skin fresh and healthy.

Is BioRePeel safe for all skin types?

BioRePeel is a TCA-based peel (with 35% trichloroacetic acid) but formulated to be less aggressive and non-photosensitizing, which makes it suitable for all skin tones, including darker skin. Treatments are safe on most skin types unless you have compromised skin. Please schedule a complimentary consultation with us so a provider can perform a proper skin analysis prior to treatment.

How do I prepare for treatment?

Retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, or any other exfoliating/active products should be discontinued at least 7 days before a BioRePeel Chemical Peel. The day of your treatment, please come in with a clean face and no makeup.

If you've had other skin rejuvenation procedures in the past 4 weeks, please discuss them with your treatment provider beforehand. Treatments and procedures need to have adequate time spacing between them to avoid complications.

Tell your provider if you are pregnant or lactating, or if you have any medical conditions, including allergies, and if you are using topical medications on the area to be treated.
